Hi,
My name is John Loper. I’m an experienced software developer of 18 years and a lifelong problem solver. I am currently living in rural Warsaw, Ohio with my wife and nine children.
I’ve enjoyed building and converting several complex systems over the years for clients, but my own personal project is TorrentRover, a meta-search and research tool that specializes in finding and downloading torrent files. It was written in WPF/C# with a website in WordPress/PHP and a server backend built in ASP.NET/C# with WCF services and entity framework to serve the client application. The backend uses a SQL server database for persistence. The app has tens of thousands of lines of original code. The server code is nearly as big, and the database has 52 tables. I could not have done it without the mentoring of my Dad. Thank you Dad!
